He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Slonacher; and his brother Matt Hammond. He is survived by: his father Ken Cooper; his wife Amy J. Slonacher (Hazzard); his sons, Nicholas Slonacher, Tristan Slonacher and Brendan Slonacher; his stepmother Linda Cooper; and his brothers, David Hammond (Tiffany), James Hammond, Christian Cooper (Kristina) and Alexander Cooper.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lofland Funeral Home (102 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to a charity that Garrette supported, the Oscar Mike Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps injured veterans through adaptive sports and other programs.
