It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie E. Davis of Milford, Delaware, born in Harrington, Delaware, who passed away on April 21, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie E. Davis to pay them a last tribute.
In bidding Marie adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Marie once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter E. Ratledge and Grace V. Ratledge; her husband Jehu "Jack" M. Davis, Jr.; her brothers, Benjamin "Bennie" Ratledge, Richard "Shorty" Ratledge and Joseph Ratledge; and her sister-in-law Shirley Ratledge.
She is survived by : her brother Albert L. Ratledge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
