It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Sommers (Hockessin, Delaware), born in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matthew and Mildred Marie Murphy (Morgavich); her former husband Edward F. Sommers; and her sister Mildred Marie "Mitzi" Murphy. She is survived by: her son Edward J. Sommers (Anita); her grandchildren, Erin (Vince), Edward, Eric, Eva and Ella Sommers; her siblings, John Matthew Murphy, Jr. and Jeanne Blonsky; her fiancé Dave Frock; Sophia Perez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
