It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Charlotte Maneval of Hockessin, Delaware, born in Corning, New York, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jim Maneval; her children, Jim, Dan, Charlie, Cathy, Tom, John and Mary; her brother Norman; and her parents, John Ryan and Idabell Ryan. She was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Because of recent COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral mass will not be open to the public but will take place at St Therese of Carmel Catholic Church in San Diego at 11am Friday July 17.
In lieu of flowers, the family hopes that you will make contributions in her name to a local charity for children or consider supporting the work at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
