Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Franklin Phares of Hockessin, Delaware, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 87, on September 28, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Phares and Frances Phares (Dayton); his son Shawn Phares; and his sister Alpha Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patsy" Phares (Minke); his children, Linsann Kaplan (Philip) and Cliff Phares (Karen); his grandchildren, Corrie Staniszewski (Rob), Benjamin Phares (Mallory), Jonathan Phares (Jessica), Christine Phares, Jeremy Phares (Meghan), Megan Phares, Josiah Phares, Kirstin Emmert (Trent) and Shawn Sowers (Jessica); and his nieces, Amanda Olaussen and Amy Davis. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
