She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Sterling McClain, Jr.; her parents, Edward Whyte and Erma Williams Whyte; and her daughter Evalyn Bowers. She is survived by: her sons, James Bowers (Lisza) of Omaha, NE, Gary Bowers of Mesa, AZ and Dennis Bowers (Sharon) of Wilmington, DE; and her siblings, Lawrence Whyte of Quarryville, PA, Ross Whyte of Pottstown, PA and Betty Walls of West Grove, PA.. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
