She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles V. Elliott, Jr. and Mary E. Rose-Manelski; her son Charles V. W. Hickman; and her sister Elizabeth F. Elliott. She is survived by : her children, James G. Hickman, Jr. (Dana), Markela S. "Kay" Damiano (Dom) and Lisa Pittaoulis (Randy). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 greatgrandchildren; and 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
