It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter E. Hopkins (Hockessin, Delaware), born in Capeville, Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward William Hopkins and Annie E. Hopkins (Smith); and his siblings, Charles Edward, Mark Eugene and Ruth Eloise Matthews.
He is survived by: his son Mark (Mary); his grandchildren, Will and Anna; his son John (Ellen); his grandchildren, Robert and Lindsay; his daughter Emma; Jim. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
