He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Joseph McDonough and Anna Falls McDonough; his wife Audrey Way Johnson McDonough; his son Patrick McDonough; his grandson Anthony Klimasewski; his son-in-law Bill Parson; and his brother-in-law William McMahon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leah Parson of Elkton, MD, Kathryn Hutton (Albie) of Milford, DE and Margaret McClay (Kit) of Earleville, MD.; his grandchildren, Guinnevere McDonough, MariClare Pochvatilla (Jack), Patrick Hutton (Sarah), Marlene Rafferty (Ryan), Bridget Hayman (James), Stephen McClay (Heather) and Katelyn Simpson (Sam); and his sister-in-law Marlene McMahon of Berlin, MD. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
