He is survived by: his parents, Nicholas Cressen Yerkes (Merrie) and Paula Jean Brennan; his wife Jacqueline Lee Yerkes; his children, Nathan John Yerkes (Victoria) and Meghan Lee Yerkes; his granddaughter Jacquelyn Rose Yerkes; and his siblings, Todd Yerkes, Tracy Barclay, Chris Yerkes (Kathleen), Laurie Dorsey (Chris) and Madeline Brennan. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home & Crematorium (211 Washington St, Millsboro, DE 19966). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
