With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Trala Jr. of New Castle, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Philomena J. Trala (Vignola); his parents, Joseph J. Trala Sr. and Mary Trala (Wierzbicki); and his sister Patty Ann Drummond. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Trala III (Christine Caruso) of Middletown, Deborah Breen (Michael) of Middletown, Richard Trala (Susan) of Newark and Tammy Pritt (Kenneth) of New Castle; his siblings, Mary McDaniel of Elkton, MD and Tom Trala (Diane) of Bear; and his grandchildren, Joey, Alicia, Jordan, Mackenzie, Michael, Jimmy, Ashlee and Hailee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
