It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sylvia Jean Patterson of New Castle, Delaware, who passed away on April 16, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Leasure and Laura Leasure of Glasgow, DE.; and her siblings, Earl "Sonny" Leasure (Phrilla) and Kathryn Phillips (Stan). She is survived by : her husband George; her children, Shaun Patterson (Laura) and Brook Rowe (Matthew); her grandchildren, Margot, Matthew and Quinn; and her sisters, Helen Keeley (late Howard), Sandy Hufnal (Bruce) and Ruth Eastburn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins.

All attending will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing to maintain compliance with State COVID-19 Regulations.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Goodwill Fire Company as it is where Sylvia and George began their lives together (401 South Street, New Castle, DE 19720).
