She was predeceased by : her parents, Constance L Croney (Blackway) and Harry P Croney; and her sister Jamie L Croney. She is survived by : her children, Stephen C. Bordas Jr. of Newark, Jessica E. Bordas of Drexel Hill, PA, Ryan C. Bordas (Lindsey) and Lindsey Hoosty of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Eliza, Rohan and Avery Bordas; her siblings, Terri Borkland (Susan) of Wilmington, Kaye Sterndale (Jeff) and Steven Croney; and her nieces and nephews, Justin Croney, Patrick Borkland, Jordan Borkland and Emily Borkland.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Denise's name to Concordia Lutheran Church, 3003 Silverside Rd, Wilmington DE, 19810 or Season's Hospice and Palliative Care, 220 Continental Dr Suite 407, Newark DE, 19713.
