She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James; her daughters, Lisa Fedor, Amy Czebotar (Nate) and Sara Mateer; her sisters, Martha Schlott (Rick) and Laura Brown (Willie); and her parents, Marie Kazenwadel and Fred Kazenwadel.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Beebe Medical Foundation in memory of Anita Mateer to the South Coastal Health Campus (Cancer Center and ER) whereby Anita underwent treatment for the past nine months while fighting multiple myeloma.
