With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwina Wilkerson of Seaford, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George William Nichols and Helen Louise Baker Nichols; and her husband Ira David Wilkerson. She is survived by: her children, William David Wilkerson, Quentin Wilkerson, Sr. of Seaford and Nicole Denise Wilkerson of Laurel; her siblings, Wilbur Nichols of Seaford, Ronald Nichols of Wilmington and Carolyn Burke of Bethel; and her grandchildren, Tatiyana Santos, Shealeigh Santos, Sasha Santos, Gavin Jenkins, Natalya Jenkins, Reagan Jenkins, Kaia Jenkins, Quentin Wilkerson, Jr., Dakota Wilkerson, Sierra Wilkerson and Taylor. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Disharoon Funeral Home Inc. (700 West St, Laurel, DE 19956). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
