With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gayle M. Hughes of Selbyville, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent N. Gallagher and Marie Gallagher (McIntyre); and her siblings, Vincent Gallagher, Jr., Patricia Gallagher and Neal Gallagher.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas M. Hughes; her children, Michelle Hotem (Jeff) of Seven Valleys, PA, Thomas M. Hughes, Jr. (Lisa) of Marriottsville, MD and Sean T. Hughes of Washington, D. C.; her grandchildren, Jack Hotem, Riley Hotem, Griffin Hughes and Nolan Hughes; and her brother Gary Gallagher of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
