She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Robert Scarborough and Emma Scarborough (Littleton); her husband Norris Truitt; and her brother Robert Lee Scarborough. She is survived by : her children, Sandra Truitt West (Edward) of Salisbury and William Norris Truitt; her grandchildren, Michelle Trivits, Cassandra West and Edward L. West Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Meagan Lily Trivits and Belle Dove Hagerty West.
