It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie L. Gosa Jr. (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Gosa and Eddie Gosa Sr.; his siblings, Franklin D. Roosevelt (Roe), Lewis Gosa (Ronnie) and Alice Jean Fistzgiles; and his grandson Dione L. Scarborough.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie L. Gosa; and his children, Gail D. Benson (Scarborough), Vanessa N. Gosa, Kevin Wray, Tamara M. Gosa-Wilson, Stacey L. Gosa-Craig, Edward L. Gosa and Michael E. Gosa (Monica). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren,; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; cousins; and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evan W. Smith Funeral Services - Wilmington (201 N Union St, Wilmington, DE 19805). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Silverbrook Cemetery (3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE 19805).
