He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Mary Evans; his mother Malvina Slater; his stepfather Richard Slater; and his children, Osha Belcher, Eric Evans Jr., Ericka Lowe, Michael Evans (Tiffany), Tiffany Howard and Todd Johnson (Kaely). He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
