It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert Porter (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Bennett Porter; and his stepfather John Edward Bachoffen. He is survived by: his children, Desiree Porter, Moriah Porter, Rebecca Porter and Vincent Porter; his mother Margaret Porter; his siblings, Albert Porter (Jen), Nikki Wyatt and Jim Taylor (Melody); and his grandsons, Greyson and Byron.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the fire stations he served with; Belvedere Fire Company and Mill Creek Fire Company in Wilmington, DE.
