With solemn reverence, we commemorate Virginia Williamson of Anthony, Florida, whose life came to an end on September 11, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hay and Clema Hay; and her siblings, Jean Brown, Jack Hay, Mike Grizzle and Anthony Grizzle.
She is survived by: her stepfather Clifford Grizzle; her husband Marvin; her children, Gregory Williamson (Brenda) and Pam Sanders (late Jimmy Sanders); her brother Danny Hay; and her grandchildren, Emily Roel (Nicholas), Eliza Culberson (Josh) and Andrew. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Countryside Funeral Home (9185 NE Jacksonville Rd, Anthony, FL 32617). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at the Anthony Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund, which is dedicated to funding research to end Alzheimer's disease, or to Haven Hospice, whose compassionate care and support brought great comfort to Ginny and her family.
