With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Virginia Fortunas of Apalachicola, Florida, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 3, 2022 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Virginia Fortunas to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer LeRoy Davis and Marie Davis (Kriss) of Virginia; her brother LeRoy Davis; her son Alex Fortunas; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Marie Fortunas.

She is survived by : her children, Joanne Marsh, Nicole Harvell (Larry) and Steven Fortunas; her grandchildren, Jennifer Marsh Rodriguez (Joel), Jonathan Marsh (Amanda) and Ryan Harvell (Hayley); her great grandchildren, Alex Rodriguez, Ivan Rodriguez and Matthew Harvell; and her brother Robert Davis of The Villages. She is also survived by many friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida, or Trinity Episcopal Church in Apalachicola, Florida.
