He was predeceased by: his sister Selma Kaufman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Weisberger Scheck; his children, Howard Scheck (Deborah) of Chevy Chase, MD, David Scheck Potomac, MD (Rachel) and Laura Scheck Zuckman Atlanta (Bobby); his grandchildren, Michael, Leo, Jenny, Jeremy, Benjamin, Gabriel, Evan and Daniel; and his sister Dorie Spiegel of Scranton, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made online to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Avow Hospice (Naples, Florida), Temple Israel (Scranton, PA), and the Winship Pancreatic and Liver Oncology Fund.
