With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Benton (Bartow, Florida), who passed away on May 5, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Lena Benton; and his siblings, Ruth Mathis, Grace Thompson, Glen Benton, Selma Benton, Milton Benton and Harry Benton.
He is survived by: his parent Garney Benton; his wife Laurene "Laurie" Benton; his children, Daniel Benton and Valerie Kirkland (Gerald); his grandchildren, Amanda Craven (Bobby), Lindsey Kirkland (Danielle), Allison Benton, Joshua Benton and Saralyn Benton; and his great grandchildren, Kayla Jackson, Savannah Jackson, Hunter Kirkland and Sophie Kirkland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church at 355 South Florida Ave. Bartow, FL 33830.
