It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maythel Cooper (Bartow, Florida), born in Fort Myers, Florida, who passed away on January 21, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William C. Brown and Lela Brown (Shepard); her husband Dryden Cooper; her children, Sylvia Shoemaker, Michelle Blair, Gerry Burgess (Joe) of Bartow, Bill Cooper of Auburndale and Nancy Weitman (Michael) of Niceville; and her sister Denise Brown of Fort Myers. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
