She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco Velez, Sr.; and her son Sammy Velez. She is survived by: her children, Altie Whitaker (Arnold), Francisco Velez, Jr., Doris Velez and Hector Velez (Jeanie); her grandchildren, Melissa Molina (Carlos), Tracy Davis (Ameer), Emily Ortega (Michael), Sammy Velez (Tanya) and Jerid Velez (Tiffany); and her great grandchildren, Donovan, Briona, Darian, Jaida, Miyah, Tanner and Lucas.
