Violet Mathis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2021, at the age of 83, Violet Mathis of Blountstown, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her father George; her husband Willie "Bill" Mathis, Sr.; her children, Donald Mathis and Thelma Mae Mathis; and her sisters, Kathleen McCormick and Janice Bass.
She is survived by : her children, Willie D. Mathis Jr. (Barbara) of Altha and Hilda Bowen (Donald) of Blountstown. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
