He is survived by: his wife Frances Barbanel; his children-in-law, Sharon Sarno-Barbanel, Deb Barbanel, Jack Johnston and Susan Papetti Barbanel; his grandchildren, Ariana Turner (Jeremy Turner), Andrew Lichtenstein, Joseph Barbanel, Tristan Barbanel, Alexei Barbanel and Angelina Barbanel; his great grandchildren, Liam Turner, Grant Turner and Henry Turner; his stepdaughter Beth Lew; his sons-in-law, Marvin Lew, Michael Rubenstein, Craig Foreman and Michael Koloski; his grandchildren, Nathan Lew, Brooke Barron (Adam Barron), Brian Rubenstein (Rachel Rubenstein), Jessica Hoffman (Garrett Hoffman), Stephanie Fluger (Lance Fluger), Mark Foreman, Carlyn Foreman, Scott Rubenstein, Devin Koloski and Cameron Koloski; his great grandchild Neil Fluger; and also, Steven Barbanel, Alan Barbanel, Roberta Barbanel, Scott Barbanel, Robin Rubenstein, Gwenne Foreman and Lynne Kolowski.
