He was predeceased by: his parents, Libbie Scherr and Albert Scherr; and his spouse Glorya Sackett Scherr. He is survived by: his children, Dean Scherr (Karen), Dyan Gracia (Daniel) and Debbi Rubin (Michael); his girlfriend Diane Mattox Rosenberg; and his grandchildren, Bryan Scherr (Lauren), Rori Brown (Michael), Rachelle Rohner (Bradley), Tracie Pirraglia (Anthony), Jessica Wildman (Andy), Kevin Simon, Jonathan Gracia (Lindsay), Adam Gracia (Stacey) and Ryan Gracia (Samantha).
