He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Fitzgerald and Mary Fitzgerald (McCormick). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fitzgerald (Byrnes); his children, Kaitlyn Fitzgerald of Belle Harbor, NY, Kevin T. Fitzgerald (Lauren) of New Hyde Park, NY and Brendan Fitzgerald (Kayla) of Belle Harbor, NY; his brothers, Keith Hartmann (Beth) of Gainesville, FL and Paul Hartmann of Brooklyn, NY; and his grandchildren, Juliette, Saoirse and Ciaran.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home (28300 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Francis de Sales Catholic Church (129-16 Rockaway Beach Blvd, Belle Harbor, NY 11694).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brian's name may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
