She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kellerman and Clara Kellerman; her husband Daniel L. Leary; and her sister Ann Burdette. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer L. Duerr (Kevin) of Wake Forest, NC and Katherine "Kate" Staffey of Youngsville, NC; her grandchildren, Megan, Ellie, Riley Duerr, Kyle, Erin and Nora Staffey; her sibling's children, Sharon Simon of Oxford, CT and Wayne Burdette of Shelton, CT; and her cousin Anita Schmitz of Milford, CT..
