She was predeceased by: her parents, Guss Pence and Artie Pence. She is survived by: her sons, James D. Davis (Barbara), Michael Davis (Holly), Mark W. Davis (Sherell) and Daniel L. Davis (Gabrielle); her grandchildren, James Davis, Darrell Davis, Timothy Davis, Christopher Davis, Jennifer Davis Jones, Sabrina Davis Baker, Billy Harrison and Sharon Davis Wojciechowski; and her sisters, Shirley Pence Eubank and Lavada Pence Goodwin. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Marie had instructed her children that she would like donations made in her memory to St. Jude Hospital.
