He was predeceased by: his son Charles Jr; his parents, Harold Clegg and Veda Clegg (Collmer); and his siblings, Larry, Jeffrey Clegg, Beverly Bilich and Brenda Kinney.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Clegg (Kirby); his children, Darlene Parkinson (Stan), Laura Clegg, Mark Clegg and Kirby Clegg; and his grandchildren, Tana, Lisa, Adria, David, Theresa and Corey.
