He is survived by: his mother Dorace Gayden Miller Shell; his daughter Kaya Sage Shell of Longmont; his half-brother Jeff Paz of Philadelphia; and his aunts and uncles, Faith (Dick Coleman), Richard (Nancy Miller), Carolyn (Bill Stowers), Connie Shell and Jerry Shell (Kathy Littledave).
