The memory of Ouida W. Carter of Myakka City, Florida, born in Frostproof, Florida, who passed away on April 24, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her sons, Michael Mizell and William Mizell (Frankie). She is survived by : her husband Robert Carter; her children, Christina Dakin (Shelly), Laurie Dupuy and Kevin Mizell; her stepdaughter Dr. Carol Moreno; her daughters-in-law, Karen Mizell (Frankie) and Vicki Mizell (Michael); and her foster daughter Rieda Nanney. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes (50 N Hillsborough Ave, Arcadia, FL 34266). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
