He was predeceased by: his sisters, Beatrice Griffin, Libby Hildreth and Lillian Terry. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Walker Ross; his daughter Michelle Presnell (Kevin) of High Springs, FL; his brother Bill Ross of Branford, FL; and his grandchildren, Ross Presnell (Kaley) and Kari Smith (Tucker). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Haven Hospice, 6037 US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055 or The Florida Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 8190.
