It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jane Stakey (Cape Coral, Florida), born in Media, Illinois, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her children, Georgiana Elliott, Jerry W. Davis and Joseph Stakey. She is also survived by grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She had been under the care of Hope Hospice after enduring a long battle with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
