He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Velez and Geralda Velez; and his son Byron Delgado. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Rodrigues, Ivan Rosado-Velez, Claudia Torres and Moises Velez. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
