He was predeceased by : his parents, Lois Knowles and Mary Alberta McKenzie Knowles; and his wife Marcia Rice Knowles. He is survived by : his siblings, Peggy Cortichiato (Paul), Sue Watson and Paul Knowles (Karen); his daughters, Sylvia Straley (Randy) and Cindy Hemme; his stepchildren, Kim Schroeder, Kathy Hovark, James Hovark and Danny Hovark; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Hemme. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
