He is survived by: his parents, Harvey M. Smith and Fannie Mae Smith; his wife Betty Smith; his sons, Mack Maulton Smith, Jr. (Regina) and William Smith (Susie Bynum); his sister Edna Golden (Joe); and his grandchildren, Tanya, Louie "Scooter", Jessie and Roger. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice in memory of Mr. Smith.
