She was predeceased by: her daughter Cynthia Purnell Maddox; and her sisters, Betty Sue and Dora Pearl Braun. She is survived by: her husband John Purnell; and her children, John Keith Purnell and Sandra Purnell Jimenez. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
