He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Palmer and Ruth "Smethurst" Palmer; his wife Gale Palmer; and his sister Sharon Robertson. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Palmer (Rhonda) of Kansas and Curt Palmer (Prapai) of Connecticut; his stepdaughter Cathy Simms; his brother Elbert "Skip" Palmer (Linda); his grandchildren, Christopher Palmer, Madison Palmer, Natalie Palmer, Wendy Palmer and Nui Sendee; his nephews, Robert Palmer, Steven Palmer and Matthew Robertson; and his great grandchild Ryan Andrew Palmer.
