He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown and Rosa Brown; and his daughter Gwen Brown Petty. He is survived by: his children, Arvid Kenneth Brown Jr., Karen Brown Birdwell and Houston Brown (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Craig Daniels Jr. (Gina), Caleb Morris (Lynette), Brandon Daniels, Stephanie Daniels, Brittney Morris Abney (Bruce), Dwight Brown, Karisa Brown, Houston Brown Jr. and River Brown. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
