With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Craig Dahlquist in Citrus Springs, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 72. In the sacred silence of farewell, Craig is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Winston Dahlquist and Afton Ahlander Dahlquist; and his brother Taylor (Judy). He is survived by: his wife Jan Stiegemeier; his stepson Derek Stiegemeier (Bridgett); and his siblings, Jeanene Ellis (Frank) and Charles W. Dahlquist II (Zella). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson Family Mortuary (4780 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84604). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Provo City Cemetery (610 S State St, Provo, UT 84606). His talent and desire to share his music to lift others was particularly apparent during COVID, when he would regularly send out on Facebook songs he personally recorded to lift thousands of followers during those difficult and often dark days of isolation.
