She is survived by: her friend Bunco; her children, Adam Gildemeister (Leslie) and Molly Sorensen (Chris); her sister Pamela Hoffmann; and her grandchildren, Katie, Ansley, Annabelle, Tommy, Grant and Olivia. She is also survived by many extended family members, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NEA Foundation, in honor of her lifelong commitment to education and community.
