She was predeceased by: her parents, Mannie T. Guy and Hattie Nell Guy (Hicks); her husband James Hasty Griner; her daughter Mary Lee Lester; and her siblings, Wayne Guy and Linda Guy.
She is survived by: her son Bruce Griner; her grandchildren, Shawn Lynn McLeod, Christopher David Griner, Bryan M. Smith, Jessie Lee Lester and Jason Griner; and her siblings, Ronnie Guy and Pat Chancy. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
