He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearly McMillan and Lucile McMillan; and his stepmother Mary Hammond McMillan. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Beverly (Mark), Dale (Vance), Shirley, Diane (David) and Homer II; and his sister Ruby Jean Gates Melbourne (Floyd). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
