It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hattie R Gilmore (Crestview, Florida), born in Vernon, Florida, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Coy "Toss" Hightower and Annie Ruth Evans Hightower; and her siblings, Harlon, Top Hightower, Hilda Mullen, Helen Syfrett and Kitty Crosby.

She is survived by : her husband Randy Gilmore; her daughters, Elizabeth Walthall of Crestview and Kimberly Gilmore of Fort Walton Beach; her grandchildren, Annie Walthall (Harrison Jones) of Dothan and Austin Walthall (Emily) of Auburn, Alabama.; and her brother Bob Hightower of Vernon. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Flowers are being accepted as well as donations to the American Heart Association.
