It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Newton of Crestview, Florida, born in Wellington, Missouri, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lathan and Nellie Irene Moore (Vance); her daughter Lola Nail; and her siblings, Ruth Bryant and Donald Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Bryant of Pottsboro and Kenneth Newton (Erica) of Crestview, Florida; her grandchildren, Jon Bryant, Jeff Bryant, Angela Brown, Lisa Jaques, Tonya Torres, Ashley Newton, Kyle Newton and Grace Newton; and her brother Lathan Moore. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren.
