He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Frisbee Farris Wordley and Paul Monroe Farris; and his sister Betty Cowardin of Port Charlotte, Florida.. He is survived by: his children, David (Susan Farris), Cindy Farris of Suwanee and Mark (Jennifer Farris); his grandchildren, Nicholas Farris, Chase Farris, Cooper Farris, Carter Ring, Kadyn Farris and Jonathan Ring; his girlfriend Maria Coords of Naples, Florida; the mother of his children Patsy Farris of Buford, Georgia; his close friend Jeri Arledge of Pikeville, Tennessee.; his siblings, Sue Walker of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Sandy Farris of Duncannon, Pennsylvania; and his brother-in-law Fred Cowardin of Port Charlotte, Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
